Connect Foodora to your POS system via MERGEPORT
How to connect your POS system to Foodora step by step
MERGEPORT
Last Update a month ago
With MERGEPORT, you can easily connect Foodora to your POS system. Orders will then be transmitted automatically to the POS — no manual entry required.
Make sure your POS system is compatible with MERGEPORT. You can find the current list here: https://www.mergeport.com/integrate
Open the MERGEPORT Controller at https://controller.mergeport.com and select the restaurant.
Go to configuration and click “Add Platform”.
Select Foodora from the list.
Enter the Foodora customer number or the required credentials.
MERGEPORT will automatically send an activation request to Foodora.
Once Foodora has approved the integration, the platform will appear as “Online” in the MERGEPORT Controller.
Activation process (Delivery Hero / Foodora)
Please contact
pos-support@deliveryhero.com
and use the following template:
ChainCode configuration (important)
- Default ChainCode:
- → MergePort-AT-2 (used for Austria and as fallback)
- For Norway:
→ MergePort-NO - Other countries:
→ Supported, but must be enabled once by Delivery Hero
Important behavior
- If no ChainCode is provided, MERGEPORT will automatically fallback to:
→ MergePort-AT-2 - If you are using the automatic activation via the MERGEPORT Controller:
- The ChainCode must be set correctly for non-Austrian integrations
- Otherwise, activation may fail or be assigned incorrectly
Important Notes
In the Foodora Vendor Portal, item IDs can be set using the “Item SKU number” field. These IDs must match the item IDs from your POS system.
Please note: The SKU number field may only become visible after the POS integration has been activated by Foodora.
