More and more accountants require that orders from delivery platforms are transferred directly and in real time into the POS system. The reason is compliance with legal and accounting requirements.

In the past, it was common to transfer revenues in bulk (e.g. monthly). Today, this is no longer sufficient. Orders are considered individual transactions and in many countries – including Germany and Austria – they must be recorded immediately in the POS system.

Why is this important?

  • Audit compliance: Every order is recorded individually in the POS system.

  • GoBD and KassenSichV compliance: In Germany, these regulations require immediate and unalterable recording of all transactions.

  • Transparency: Tax authorities and accountants can easily verify revenues.

  • Avoiding issues: Missing individual records may lead to financial penalties or back payments.

With MERGEPORT, the direct transfer of orders is automatically ensured. The POS system receives each order individually, fulfilling all legal requirements.
