I cannot edit my Uber Eats menu anymore in the Menu Maker after the POS integration was activated

Why Menu Maker becomes disabled and how to re-enable it

MERGEPORT

Last Update vor 21 Tagen

Once the POS integration is activated, Uber Eats usually disables the Menu Maker.

From that point on, menu changes are expected to be managed through the POS Menu Sync instead of the Menu Maker interface.

Why is the Menu Maker disabled?

This means:

  • All item updates

  • Prices

  • Availability

  • Variants and options

must come directly from the POS → to MERGEPORT → to Uber Eats.

To avoid conflicting edits, Uber Eats automatically disables Menu Maker.

Can Menu Maker be reactivated?

Yes. Reactivation is possible.

You can request this by:

  • Contacting Uber Eats Support directly, or

  • Asking MERGEPORT Support, and we will submit the request for you.

Once reactivated, you can temporarily modify the menu through Menu Maker again.

When does reactivation make sense?

Re-enabling Menu Maker can be useful if:

  • The POS does not support a full menu sync

  • You need to quickly adjust the menu before POS updates are ready

  • You want to fix or test specific menu items manually
