Lieferando POS Integration – Step by Step Guide

How to successfully connect your POS system with Lieferando via MERGEPORT

Integrating Lieferando (Just Eat Takeaway, JET) with your POS system is done via MERGEPORT. This ensures that orders are automatically transmitted to the POS without manual entry.

Step-by-step instructions

  • Make sure your POS system is compatible with MERGEPORT. You can find the current list here: https://www.mergeport.com/integrate


    Open the MERGEPORT Controller at https://controller.mergeport.com

    and select the relevant restaurant.

  • Go to configuration and choose “Add Platform”, then select Lieferando.

  • Enter your Lieferando customer number. This is required to activate the integration.

  • If the “Automated Activation Request” has been activated, MERGEPORT automatically sends an activation request to Lieferando. Activation is then usually carried out within 1-3 business days. 
    If you want it to happen without delay, we recommend requesting activation by phone from Lieferando Support. Simply call Lieferando Support and ask them to activate the “POS API” for “MERGEPORT” under the respective customer number (as Remote ID). Send any queries to Lieferando email (partner@lieferando.de) Support.

  • Once approved, the connection will be displayed as “Online” in the MERGEPORT Controller.

  • Orders from Lieferando will now be forwarded directly to the POS system.

  • Important Notes

  • Make sure that the POS item IDs (PLUs) are set in the Lieferando Partner Dashboard. This is required for correct item mapping in the POS.
