Driver tips are not transmitted to the POS by Lieferando or other delivery platforms. This is intentional and correct.
Why are driver tips not sent?
Tips for platform drivers are paid directly to the couriers. Because of this, they must not enter the restaurant’s POS, accounting, or fiscal records.
Restaurants are not allowed to collect or process these tips.
Therefore, platforms do not include driver tip amounts in the order data at all.
Is this an integration issue?No. This is not a technical problem. The platforms simply do not send this data.
