What if the ordered items are displayed as “Unknown products”?

How to resolve product mapping issues between the ordering platform and your POS

If items are shown as “Unknown products” in the POS system, this usually means the incoming order could not be matched to the POS article database.


✅ Check:
Make sure that the menu items in the service provider's menu (e.g. Lieferando, Wolt, etc.) have POS item IDs set – these are also known as PLU codes or article IDs.


If these IDs are missing, the POS cannot associate the incoming order items with the correct internal products.
